Comment on E. Dierker and B. Grodal, "Modelling Policy Issues in a World of Imperfect Competition."

Article Abstract:

Egbert Dierker and Birgit Grodal have made an illustrious work on the subject of general equilibrium theory. The paper is aimed primarily at providing a systematic analysis on various management and stakeholder issues that prevail under imperfect competition. Both authors have rendered a detailed account on the impact of profit and wealth surplus to firms that operate under such conditions. However, Dierker and Grodal failed to provide a comprehensive correlation between economic models and corporate decision-making functions.
