FRANCE: THE CFIA-PROCESS 2000 PRIZE

Article Abstract:

At the Food Industry Suppliers Crossroads (CFIA) trade fair, Repak packaging from Wipak Gryspeert received the CFIA-Process 2000 first prize for innovation. Repak is a polyester tray with a resealable lid in oriented polypropylene. Three other packagings were noted. These include the packaging for double-cream Saint-Felicien cheese from the Fromagerie Terrier. This packaging, developed by Velfor Plast and Sequoia, consists of a thermoformed poplar plywood shell with a polyvinyl chloride shell. The two other packagings are presentation sheets made from pure cellulose cardboard laminated with PET film, and trays for packaging meat brochettes.

France: Shredded cantal in bags

Article Abstract:

The Fromageries Occitanes has introduced creamy shredded cantal under the Cantoral brand. The products is packaged in an easy-to-open, resealable bag. The package, supplied by Wipack, is printed with a white surface and on the back there is a recipe which changes regularly.

France: Saveurs de Caves de Roquefort Societe's box

Article Abstract:

Corepe has produced a limited series of 125,000 boxes for Saveurs de Caves de Roquefort Societe, which designed by Dragon Rouge, and which contain three 100-gram portions. The metal box comes in a half-moon shape and has an independent bottom and lid.
