Ten mini stereos, costing from 360-500 pounds sterling, are evaluated. The best buy is the JVC D5T, costing 360 pounds sterling, which has a good sound quality and a CD player and holds three CDs. Other systems which are also highly recommended include the Philips FW650C, at 400 pounds sterling, the Denon D-C30 at 500 pounds sterling, and the Aiwa NSX-V900 at 400 pounds sterling. Features to consider are CD players, sound, tone, tuners, a karaoke facility, and timers.
