1997-99 Dodge Dakota

Article Abstract:

Stiffer frames in DaimlerChrysler Corp's 1997-1999 Dodge Dakota models have clearly made a visible difference as the two-wheel-drive Club Cab models are impressively solid on rough roads. Ride quality is also excellent. The suspension provides a comfortable and stable ride, with only minimal bouncing on wavy surfaces. The 5.2-liter V-8 engines in these models are quieter than before, and smoother. This generation provides slightly more interior space and towing capacity than competing compact pickup rivals and a significant edge in payload capacity.

1996-99 Honda Civic

Article Abstract:

American Honda's 1996-1999 Civic models represents a generation which continues the Civic's long-standing tradition of reliability and durability. It is largely for this reason that their resale prices as used vehicles tend to stay high. Ride comfort is pleasing save for some over- reaction to wavy surfaces. These cars are easy to manuever and are stable and well controlled on the highway, where they deliver superior steering feedback and excellent response.

1992-95 Honda Civic

Article Abstract:

Prices are hefty for American Honda's 1992-1995 Civic models but the expenditure may well be worthwhile for used car buyers. This generation has few flaws. These subcompacts are refined, quietly impressive and offer a number of highly tempting virtues. These include nimble handling, smooth running, enjoyable operation and parsimonious gas mileage. Narrow tires and softer suspension lean over in tight turns, however, but steering and brakes work well.
