1992-99 Chevrolet Suburban

Article Abstract:

General Motors Corp's (GMC) 1992-1999 Chevrolet Suburban models are a derivative of GMC's pickup trucks and may be equipped to haul either cargo or passengers. Step-in height in this generation is considerably lower than in earlier Suburban models. No other comparative rival vehicle can match the Suburban's 149.5-cubic-ft cargo capacity. Moreover, no engine is as powerful as the Suburban's 7.4-liter V-8 engine. These vehicles are smooth and capable on the highway.

1990-95 Dodge Spirit

Article Abstract:

Acceleration with DaimlerChrysler Corp's base four-door, 1990-1995 Dodge Spirit models is barely adequate acceleration and especially meager when passing or merging. Gas mileage, however, is impressive. The V-6 engine is smooth and responsive, but the four-speed automatic transmissions shifts too quickly into higher gears and also holds back on downhills when drivers attempt to pass. Used-car buyers ought to try out this practical sedan.
