1990-97 Mercury Cougar

Article Abstract:

Ford Motor Co's 1990-1997 Mercury Cougar models feature a revamped design and differ from the mechanically similar Ford Thunderbird primarily in terms of their formal roofline and grille. The base LS comes with a standard 150-horsepower, 3.8-liter V-6 and four-speed overdrive automatic transmission. The virtues of this generation of Cougars include dual air bags, which are found in the later models, acceleration with the V-8 engine and handling.

1995-99 Lincoln Continental

Article Abstract:

Ford Motor Co's 1990-1997 Lincoln Continental models feature a revamped design and are equipped with a new V-8 engine. This generation of cars is a lot more quicker, slightly more agile and loaded with electronic gadgetry. Interior space is excellent and storage space is good. Ford apparently intended this generation of Lincolns to be a cross between sports sedans and traditional luxury cars. It is not quite either, but is worth a test drive.
