Article Abstract:
DaimlerChrysler Corp's 1990-1995 LeBaron Coupe/Convertible display refined power with a Mitsubishi-built V-6 engine, which is quieter and delivers its strength in a far more linear manner to provide smoother performance. By comparison, both the base four-cylinder engine and its turbocharged counterparts are gruff and noisy. However, automatic transmissions shift sloppily regardless of engine choice. This generation looks sharp and performs reasonably well with the Mitsubishi V-6 despite its flaws.
