Article Abstract:
Power and performance with any four-cyliner engine rank as barely adequate in Ford Motor Co's 1990-1994 Tempo. Torque is insufficient for brisk pickup or top gas mileage when an automatic transmission is used. Tempos are also not impressive in the areas of trunk space, passenger room, ride and handling. Poorly located and confusing controls for the fan and wiper/washer can be annoying. However, buyers will still get good value for the money for the Tempo even if it cannot match its Japanese rivals.

Article Abstract:
DaimlerChrysler Corp's 1995-1999 Dodge Avenger models feature pleasing front and rear seating although getting in and out from the back can be a chore. The trunks have a wide, flat floor and split-folding rear seatbacks. Visibility is generally good in all directions although passengers sit relatively low in these cars. Most controls are easy to reach while driving and instruments are easy to read. This generation of cars handle adeptly, and its road holding is good overall.

Article Abstract:
Ford Motor Co's 1990-1997 Thunderbird (T-Bird) models are considerably heavier than previous T-bird generations but are stylish and feature roomier interiors. Standard T-Birds are pretty and pleasant compared to front-drive General Motors Corp coupes such as the Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Pontiac Grand Prix. They impart a solid feel, feature a contemporary appearance, handle well, ride comfortably and provide a quiet ride.
