West Marine, the US' largest marine retailer will be the exclusive supplier of marine parts and accessories for pcBoat.com. The latter provides consumers and professional with online access to services related to the purchase and maintenance of boats. Similarly, it will also serve as the supplier of selected yachting parts and accessories to Edmiston-Yachtstore, which specializes in the charter and sale of luxury boats through the Internet.

Key Recreation Lending and online marine portal boats.com have established a joint venture called boatsbank that will provide online boat loans to consumers. Ken Landon, CEO of Key Recreation Lending, said that as many as 10 of the leading marine finance companies would offer their services through boatsbank. Landon added that consumers and dealers can use boatsbank in accessing information on interest rates. A dealer reserve will also included in the published rate.
