Boston, MA-based WebPark Corp. has started an Internet World Wide Web- based, business-to-business electronic commerce site for the marine industry called BoatPark.com. According to WebPark, BoatPark.com will act as a virtual trade show to bring together customers, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, marinas, trade associations and publications around the world. Member companies will be able to design and maintain their own Web site presentations and may communicate through WebPark's custom-designed database.

Watsonville, CA-based boat dealer West Marine's Watsonville, CA-based wholesale division, Port Supply, has launched its full-service business- to-business Internet World Wide Web site portsupply.com. The site will enable customers to check wholesale product prices and inventory availability, browse through a color catalog offering more than 38,000 products and place orders online. The site transmits orders directly to Port Supply's order-entry system, allowing buyers to immediately have their orders filled.

Time4 Media's publication, Salt Water Sportsman is in it's initial stages of relocating it's editorial's headquaters from Boston to the New York city.
