Magazine targets young Internet users

Wilton, CT-based CyberActive Media Group will introduce in Sep 2000 Interactive Kids, a new magazine that will assist parents understand and evaluate their children's interactive media activities. The monthly magazine will center on educational and entertainment-based interactive products for children and will be aimed at families with children 6- to 11-yrs old who have above-average Internet usage.

IDG launches new IT magazine

Article Abstract:

International Data Group Communications Inc has introduced in Jun 2000 a new bimonthly magazine that features information technology (IT) news and content. Entitled Darwin, the magazine is targeted to top corporate executives who need to understand the benefits of IT and how it can be applied to their organizations. The company will publish 150,000 copies every two months and plans to convert the magazine into a monthly issue in Feb 2001.

Travelocity magazine builds subscription targets from within

American Airlines Publishing and Travelocity.com have launched Travelocity magazine in an effort to bring together the worlds of online travel guides and destination writing. The magazine's audience is more male than female and considerably younger, with a target age in the mid- to late 30s. The target readers have a household income of over $75,000 annually and a history of making travel and other purchases on the Internet.
