The pet - care products catalog company Doctors Foster and Smith have scaled down their operation in 2003 due to uncertain economic conditions and beginning of the war in Iraq. This year the company has dropped record number of catalogs at 2.9 million copies and seen a growth in average sale per copy at $77.
