Wilson Connolly Homes' Integer house combines high-tech information technology with low-tech environmental design. The house, situated on the Building Research Establishment campus near Watford, England, has a passive ventilation system with a back-up fan for when the weather gets very hot. The factory-made pod bathroom has a water-saving tapless bath. There is a large secure store built into the house next to the front door, and doors are controlled by Intellikey, which will allow entry to visitors at preprogrammed times.
