Banana Republic brings spring to work

Banana Republic has mailed its late-spring catalog to its target market consisting of men and women across the US. The catalog highlights spring essentials for both women and men in overcast grays and springy magenta. The catalogs are the first time that Banana Republic is using tabs to mark pages that customers are interested in buying and the first time that retail hours are extended to assist with catalog promotion. Mailings of between 1 million and 1.6 million catalogs are to be sent 12 to 14 times a year to the store chain's best customers.

Garden.com branches out to print with million-piece spring mailing

Online and offline garden supply retailer Garden.com is about to launch its spring 2000 catalog. The spring mailing will be sent to 1.1 million customers and prospects by the plant and outdoor furnishings marketer. Response results will be used by the company to determine the best mix of potential and existing customers to send mailers to and to decide on how often it will produce catalogs.
