The $2, 92-page book was initially sent to nearly two million Allpets customers, former buyers and prospects whose names were rented from outside lists. The catalog offers customers free shipping on Internet orders, an incentive made by the online retailer to drive traffic to the Allpets' site.

The Internet service has an array of over 1 million products and has alliances with Ebags.com, FragranceNet.com, 1bookstreet.com, petsmart.com, Outpost.com and kbtoys.com, among others.
