The hurricanes which hit the Florida state consecutively in the September month, 2004 have left devastating damages for the marine industry. The three hurricanes, Charley, Frances and Ivan that stormed the west coast and the treasure coast state on 13th August, 5th September and 16thSeptember respectively, damaged property worth million dollars. Even in this face of disaster, marine business operators can find a ray hope in the form of insurance money and purchasing of their marine equipment.

Article Abstract:

The decision to promote the marine industry with advertisement campaigns made on similar lines to ones used by RV the recreational vehicle industry by the National Marine Manufacturers Association has been welcomed one and all in the industry ahead, the boat industry has finally realized that nationwide marketing of the industry was necessary to promote sales and growth.
