Advo to launch TV ad campaign

Windsor, CT-based direct mail advertising services provider ADVO Inc has announced plans to launch its first national television and radio advertising campaign during the week of Aug 28, 2000. The campaign is designed to encourage consumers to open ADVO's direct mail pieces and respond to the advertisements they carry. It will bolster ADVO's ShopWise Shared Mail advertising product, which is delivered to more than 60 million households each week.

American List Counsel Inc of Princeton, NJ, has announced the formation of an e-mail list management division in Jan 2001. The unit, callee ALC eManagement, is takes to manage the company's branded e-mail files, including AmericanBaby.com and Seventeen.com. Before the creation of ALC eManagement, ALC's traditional list management department handled the e- mail files.
