The new facility will serve as the headquarters and call center of Able Energy's new Internet World Wide Web-based electronic distribution site PriceEnergy.com. Able Energy is a holding company for a number of operating firms which provide services related to natural gas, propane gas, heating oil and diesel fuel.

Midwest Card Services acquires TeleSpectrum call center

Article Abstract:

Midwest Card Services, a provider of credit cards to consumers, has entered into an agreement with telemarketing firm TeleSpectrum to acquire TeleSpectrum's Milbank, SD call center. The call center, which previously had 120 workers, will be used by Midwest to perform inbound and outbound telemarketing. In addition, Midwest, which began operations at the center in January 2001, expanded the center's workforce to 270 employees.
