The Aberdeen Group has launched its European customer relationship management (CRM) practice, with research analyst Ute Appenzeller as the first employee. Appenzeller will cover the European CRM market, including marketing automation, electronic marketing, personalization, sales force automation and related services. European clients will now have access to CRM@Aberdeen, a survey-based advisory service that integrates primary rsearch, analysis, research publications and marketing consulting services.

The site will be promoted mainly through advertisements in magazines, posters and postcards to reach its intended audience of 10 million current and soon- to-be college students. Nike, BMW and Ford are among the 600 consumer product companies that have already expressed their interest to participate.
