These seven are the 'yes/no' offer; credit card payment; time limit; free gift; sweepstakes; envelope package; and the bind-in card. For instance, the 'yes/no' offer is popular for subscriptions but can be used with other promotions including fundraising. It is effective because it draws attention, adds urgency and increases involvement. On the other hand, a free gift is better than a discount offer since the value of product or service do not have to be lowered.
