The direct marketing company will create and execute a direct mail campaign to promote the Cricket Comfortable Wireless Service, an unlimited-talk-time service expanding nationwide. To prepare for the direct mail drop, estimated at 1 million pieces, 360 Group will also offer services such as predictive modeling, list brokerage, creative design, return on investment analysis and production.

Merchants Bank has selected CPS Direct Inc to be its direct marketing agency of record on a $500,000 account. CPS won the account in a review involving another undisclosed agency. The agency takes over direct responsibilities from PostScript which retains collateral and Web site assignments for the bank. The Merchants account changed hands just as the bank seeks to ramp up awareness of its retail and commercial services.

Unilever's North America home and personal care division in Chicago, IL, has selected Impiric Chicago to handle promotional marketing for its Salon Selectives, Finesse and ThermaSilk hair care brands. Impiric Chicago will work with J Walter Thompson Co, part of British ad conglomerate WPP Group PLC, which acquired Young and Rubicam Inc, Impiric Chicago's sibling, in 2000. The account was previously handled in-house.
