Article Abstract:
The room-temperature (RT) adsorption and surface reactions of styrene on Si(100)2 x 1 are investigated in a study using thermal desorption spectrometry, low-energy electron diffraction, and Auger electron spectroscopy. In addition to the multitude of thermally induced processes, the effects of low-energy electron irradiation and postexposure of atomic hydrogen to the adsorbed styrene are also examined.

Article Abstract:
Vibrational electron energy loss spectroscopy and thermal desorption spectrometry (TDS) are used for examining the room-temperature (RT) adsorption and thermal evolution of 1,1-dichloroethylene (1,1-C2H2Cl2 or iso-DCE) and monochloroethylene (C2H3Cl or MCE) on Si(111) 7*7. Strong recombinative desorption of H2 is observed near 780 K for both iso-DCE and MCE.

Article Abstract:
The replica exchange molecular dynamics (REMD) simulation that was performed in an attempt to view the spontaneous ordering of Abeta-10-35 oligomers is discussed. The study shows that the spontaneous formation of various basic structural units alongwith a structurally relevant A(beta) 10-35 dimer and trimer at the atom level simulation can be examined.
