Electron spin resonance of high-spin cobalt in microporous crystalline cobalt-containing aluminophospates
Article Abstract:
Liquid He X- and/or Q-band electron spin resonance spectroscopy have been used to investigate four cobalt-containing microporous aluminophosphates which are highly crystalline.

Incorporation of transition metal ions in aluminophosphate molecular sieves with AST structure
Article Abstract:
Classic template, quinuclidine and the corresponding salts of V(super 4=), CO(super 2+), Cr(super 3+) and Mn(super 2+) were used for synthesizing the transition metal ion containing aluminophosphate molecular sieves with AlPO4-16(AST) structure. It was concluded that the transition metal ions like CO(super 2+) and V(super 4+) were more stable towards oxidative treatments in the AST structure as compared to other related microporous crystalline aluminophosphates.

Theoretical study of the structure and spectroscopic properties of cobalt(II) coordinated to six-rings in zeolites
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to examine the structure of the local Co(II) six-ring oxygen environment in zeolite A and the corresponding ligand field spectrum using large cluster models that include all six that surround Al or Si tetrahedra terminated by either OH or H groups. The optimization of structures was done using density functional theory that employed a nonlocal method. Results indicate that the observed splitting of the main band in the spectrum is caused by the presence of asymmetric coordination sites.
