Nonstoichiometric zinc ferrite nanocrystals: syntheses and unusual magnetic properties
Article Abstract:
Fabrication of nonstoichiometric zinc ferrite nanocrystals is presented for the first time. Unexpected behaviour is identified for the magnetic properties of nanocrystals differing by their sizes.

Assemblies of ferrite nanocrystals: Partial orientation of the easy magnetic axes
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to demonstrate that by slow evaporation on a substrate of a ferrofluid made of maghemite nanocrystals in an applied magnetic field, the nanocrystals are organized in ribbons. The orientation of the axes strongly depends on the strength of the applied field used during the deposition process.
