Metal-support interactions in Co/Al2O3 catalysts: a comparative study on reactivity of support
Article Abstract:
Research is presented demonstrating the effect surface properties, particularly catalytic reactivities, have on cobalt crystals supported on alumina. Spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, differential thermal analysis and gas chromotography are used.

Surface and textural properties of network-modified silica as a function of transition metal dopant zirconium
Article Abstract:
The surface and textural properties of Zr-doped silica [xZrO2-(100=-x)SiO2] are investigated as a function of zirconium content via heating their respective xerogels in air at 500 degree Celsius for 4h. It is found that silica networks are significantly modified with the introduction of zirconium, and crystallization of ZrO2 in the doped silica occurs only at 903-953 degree Celsius.
