Article Abstract:
A series of polycations are used with a common polyanion to form asymmetric polar ordered polyelectrolyte multilayered superlattices. A polycation outer layer reveal a change in chromophore orientation at the polycation/PAZO interfacial region that results in dipole reversal and leads to an attenuation of the SH signal when the polyelectrolyte film is terminated with a polycation.

Article Abstract:
An extensive Raman spectroscopy study on the PEO-LiTFSI system as a function of composition and temperature is done. It is suggested that for all-amorphous P(EO)(sub n)LiTFSI electrolytes, lithium cations predominately are solvated by ether oxygen for n (greater than or equal to) 8, and by a combination of ether oxygens and TFSI anions for n=6.

Article Abstract:
The relationship between the structure of the polymer and the charge carrier mobility and the ionic conductivity is studied for a class of gel electrolytes on the basis of alternating copolymers. The o-Ps lifetime is discussed in terms of o-Ps bubbles in the plasticizer-salt solution.
