Article Abstract:
The dynamic light scattering data of surfactant sodium sulfopropyl octadecyl maleate (SSPOM) micelles are well-reproduced by the theory of dynamic structure factor of semiflexible macromolecules assuming a persistence length of about 120 nm. The persistence length quantitatively confirms estimates from static light scattering. The computer initial decay rate at large scattering vectors remains approximately unchanged if polydispersity is taken into account. This proves that the persistence length of wormlike micelles can be extracted through analysis of scattering vectors.

Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to examine the detection of single molecules on an organic surface using a scanning molecular excition microscope in the collection mode. A theoretical framework to determine the detected intensity in dependence on the wavelength of the incident electric field and the distance between tip and sample is presented.

The dynamical behavior of the Rhodospirillum molischianum LH2 complex based on intensity time series obtained from single-molecule spectroscopy experiments are studied. This is achieved by reconstructing the memory function describing the time-dependent fluctuations of the excited states.
