Hydrogen-bond induced surface core-level shift in isonicotinic acid
Article Abstract:
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) were used for studying the intermolecular hydrogen-bonding in thick films of isonicotinic acid evaporated onto rutile TiO2(110). The presence of non-hydrogen-bonded nitrogen atoms in the surface layer may be responsible for the origin of the surface core-level shift.

Nucleation stage in the Ti(OPr(super i))(sub 4) sol-gel process
Article Abstract:
A spectroscopic study of the initial stage of the Ti(OPr(super i))(sub 4) sol-gel process is carried out. The experimental results show that the hydrolysis/condensation reaction takes place during the mixing of the reagents and at times it results in the creation of nanosize .

Photoelectorchemical investigation on electron transfer mediating behaviors of polyoxometalate in UV-illuminated suspensions of TiO2 and Pt/TiO2
Article Abstract:
The study conducted reveals that polyoxometalates play an important role in semi conductor photocatalysis in order to determine its kinetics and mechanisms. In short, this study describes polyoxometalates as a reversible electron shuttle.
