From excitatory to inhibitory connections in networks of discrete electrochemical oscillators

Article Abstract:

A procedure to alter the connections from excitatory to inhibitory in networks of identical discrete electrochemical oscillators, without changing the architecture of the network is investigated. It is concluded that, it can be stated that when a network of identical discrete electrochemical oscillators is controlled potentiostatically with respect to a point reference electrode, under bistable or periodic oscillatory conditions.

Bursting oscillations during metal electrodissolution: Experiments and model

Article Abstract:

Experiments on bursting oscillations in an electrochemical system, the dissolution of iron in sulfuric acid are examined. The characteristics of bursting oscillations were explored by treating the slow variable, the salt-film thickness as a controlled parameter.

Experiments on synchronization and control of chaos on coupled electrochemical oscillators

Article Abstract:

The asynchronous chaotic oscillations can be converted to synchronized and simple, periodic current oscillations by a two-step procedure. It is shown that the complexity of the chaotic oscillations depends on the extent of coupling among the electrodes.
