Czech Republic: OK Color to market IGP powder coatings

Prague-based company OK Color is to market the products of the Swiss powder coatings manufacturer IGP Pulvertechnik AG in the Czech Republic. The agreement involves especially facade polyester systems and acrylic, polyurethane and UV specialties but also epoxy systems and powder mixes. The Czech market for powder coatings is estimated 2,500 to 3,000 tonnes per year and is growing at an annual rate of between 5% and 10%.

SLOVENIA: PPG, HELIOS IN JOINT VENTURE

A new company called PPG-Helios in Slovenia, a joint venture of PPG Industries Inc. of the US (60%) and Slovenian Helios Domzale d.d.
