Article Abstract:
The nature, strength, crystallographic location, and distribution of acid sites of mordenite are studied using an IRMS-TPD (temperature programmed desorption) of ammonia. In this method, infrared spectroscopy (IR) and mass spectroscopy work together to follow the thermal behavior of adsorbed and desorbed ammonia, respectively identifying adsorbed species and their thermal behavior is directly connected with the desorption of ammonia during an elevation of temperature.

Article Abstract:
The characterization of the products of prolonged C60 hydrogenation and fragmentation by high-resolution field desorption Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FD FT-ICR MS) and complementary X-ray diffraction and infrared spectroscopy is reported. The gas-phase fragmentation of liable hydrofullerene ions during FD FT-ICR MS possible fragmentation pathways, and sources of fragmentation is discussed.

Article Abstract:
The stability of LiB[H.sub.4] is examined by using pressure, concentration and temperature (pcT) measurements under constant hydrogen flows and extrapolated to equilibrium. It is shown that the desorbed LiB[H.sub.4] can be rehydrogenated at high pressures and temperatures.
