Article Abstract:
There has been speculation that takeovers could become common among UK investment trusts following a bid by Undervalued Assets Trust for Pilot. Exmoor Dual has been subject to a bid and is considering liquidation. There are reasons which constrain bids for investment trusts such as the small size of the investment trust community and the reluctance of managers to create enemies.
