Value may be perceived in terms of price, but low P/E ratios and dividend yields are also important. Value stocks tend to become more popular during an economic recovery. The issue may not be whether value or growth stocks shoud be selected, but how to assess which economic sectors perform well when the economy as a whole is peforming well.
