What are little fonts made of?

Article Abstract:

Two designers from the P22 foundry in Buffalo, NY, have developed letter forms for the booming computer font business that have been inspired by insects. One set was developed from selected photos and specimens of insects and the other was developed through the use of a scanner applied on dismembered body parts of insects loaned by a museum. Artville's latest series of royalty-free CD-ROMs feature the design of two photographers' floral letter forms which were inspired by plants.
