JD Wetherspoon

Article Abstract:

JD Wetherspoon's shares underperformed the All-Share index by 30% over the past 12 months, and the company looks undervalued. However its like-for-like sales growth is running at more than 5%, better than many larger brewing and pub groups. All Wetherspoon outlets share a common theme, although its estate of more than 300 managed pubs trade under several different names. Much of its growth continues to come from rapid expansion in new sites.
