Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to determine the reliability of a set of psychophysiological methods in analyzing bus drivers' cabins. The use of these psychophysiological methods was aimed at gathering information which could be used as basis in redesigning the drivers' workplaces. The redesigning scheme may help in reducing bus drivers' stress and strains due to the environmental conditions of their work. Results revealed that such methods yield necessary information for effective redesign procedures of the drivers' cabins.

Involvement in the driving task was found to be linked with marked deterioration of both recall and judgement. However, there was no discernible effect on either recall or judgement whether the driving task was easy or difficult.
