Risk Exposures and International Diversification: Evidence from iShares

Article Abstract:

Research shows that the majority of iShare returns traded on the American Stock Exchange are sensitive to and influenced by US market risk, rather than that of their home-country market. The US market was also found to be the permanent factor for iShare prices, while the home-country market was a transitory factor.
