The Joint Chiefs of staffs examined some of the foremost weapons acquisition program in comments to lawmakers on the House armed Service committee, who decide which defense programs to authorize. The chiefs states that the Air Force urgently needs to buy the F/A-22 Raptor, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and acrial refueling tanker aircraft to defeat terrorist roadside mines.
