An important factor influencing the effectiveness of websites as business-to-business advertising tools is the quality of the relationship between marketers and website developers. Intense and frequent corporate culture clashes between marketers and developers will result in websites that do not accurately present the services and products of the marketer. Marketers should clearly communicate what their websites should present while developers should also communicate the limitations of website technology.
