Libra Electronics (Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic), computer manufacturer, saw proceeds of CEK 1.821 bil in 2000, 20% more compared to 1999. About 50% of the firm's sales are represented by computer components. The firm saw a net profit of over CEK 27 mil in 2000. The volume of computer sales on the Czech market increased by 4.3% to 290,000 pieces in 2000 compared to 1999.

Masokombinat raises proceeds

Masokombinat Policka (Policka, Czech Republic), meat processor, saw proceeds of CEK 1.7 bil in 2000, 16% more compared to 1999. The firm slaughtered a total of 23,200 t of animals in 2000 compared to 21,750 t in 1999. The company generated a gross profit of CEK 50 mil in 2000 compared to CEK 37 mil in 1999. The firm re-invests its profits.
