Article Abstract:
Inter-Tel Inc makes electronic telecommunications equipment. Ten insiders have disposed of 256,000 shares since Nov 19, 1992 at the $4 to $5 range. Three of the sellers cleared out a significant amount of their holdings in non-option transactions. Chmn Steven G. Mahaylo sold 164,000 shares last Feb 4, 1993. A great percentage of the recent selling also occurred after Jan 1, 1993 so the taxation factor is not applicable. Insider selling is also very evident despite a corporate cap of less than 8 million.

Article Abstract:
Network Equipment Technologies Inc stock appreciated from $10 to $15 in Sep 1992. The issue, however, declined immediately after the rise and settled at the $9 to $10 level. Three insiders cleared out 31,000 shares in late Oct to early Nov 1992 at the $11 area probably because of the forthcoming earnings report. The sellers made their moves despite an negative reaction of the issue on the news. Caution is suggested for the moment.
