Seven insiders disposed of 460,100 shares last Nov and Dec 1992 at the $50.25 to $57.25 price range. The insider selling had a cumulative price of $25.3 million. Continued insider selling is also observed despite the price appreciation so caution is recommended because the stock might be overvalued.

Nine HealthSouth Corp. insiders sold 522,100 shares at $37.50 to $39.25 between Oct. 28 and Nov. 29, 1996 while others reported plans to sell an additional 389,870 shares in their form 144. Among them are Chmn. Richard Scrushy who sold 100,00 shares for the first time since 1992. VP Anthony Tanner also made his largest sale since 1986 by disposing 200,000 shares while VP Aaron Beam sold 96,250 shares.
