Eurovein: out of the sin-bin

Article Abstract:

Eurovein was floated in Nov 1994 and issued two profit warnings in the 12 months following this flotation. The company suffered problems at Gutmann which produces cleaning machines and which was hit by losses on a contract for eastern Germany. Eurofiltec was also hit by problems, but product lines involving a loss have been eliminated. The company has been restructured and sales and operating profits have risen. Eurovein could achieve a profit of 2 million pounds sterling for 1997 according to Albert E Sharp.
