Commercial Federal Corp

Article Abstract:

Commercial Federal Corp serves as the holding company for Commercial Federal Bank. Option-related insider selling was noted in late Dec 1992 but the insider distribution that occurred between Dec 20, 1992 and Feb 5, 1993 is more noteworthy. Ten insiders sold 57,057 shares during that period at prices between $17.38 and $19.50. The activity represented a cluster sell and all of the insiders were either first-time sellers or exercising their biggest sale ever. Caution is recommended for this issue.

Chemical Banking Corp

Article Abstract:

Holding firm Chemical Banking Corp handles Chemical Bank, Manufacturers Hanover Trust and Texas Commerce Bankshares. The issue experienced insider selling at the $41 area during the summer 1992 until the price settled at $30. The stock is pegged at the $41 level once again at the start of Mar 1993 and insider selling was also observed. The amount of insider selling in 1992 and 1993 has exceeded previous years so a guarded outlook is recommended.
