Atlas minicomputer, developed by Atlas Computer Consultants, Ltd. matches up computer systems that will be compatible with a business's needs. There are 1,620 companies on the database that are searched. If the supplier is willing to pay the twelve per cent fee, the system is recommended to the client. Consulting prices are cut way down. The computer is, hopefully, more impartial. Consultants can examine the client's situation and needs. The recommended system is guaranteed by Atlas. The accountant can use seperate services supplied by Atlas to advise their clients. The administration fee is lower, at five hundred pounds. The normal fee is a refundable 750 pounds, refunded upon installation of the system.

At the end of 1983, Apricot was one of the most exciting and original microcomputers of the year. The machine is aimed at people who want a powerful desk top microcomputer, but need to be able to transport it between two work places such as home and office. The keyboard is one of the better features of the Apricot's design. It comes with three disks containing systems, utilities and language software. The Apricot is a 16-bit machine with an 8086 processor and optional 8087 math processor. It has 256kb of memory, expandable to 768kb.
