Accountancy firms are seeking money and can no longer depend on the traditional partnership method of funding, when expanding into new markets. They are becoming multi-professional, global service providers, and whether there is a need to seek new ways of funding, will depend on where the partners wish to take the business. Firms may seek to float part of their business, which would mean a major change to the profession.
