The study suggests $10 billion in wasteful weapons systems outlays might be eliminated.

Two major U.S. Army programs - the Crusader self-propelled artillery system and the RAH-66 Comanche helicopter and a Navy missile system have been terminated recently due to costs increases. The author also suggests that similar weapons acquisition programs in both the U.S. and U.K. worth billions of dollars may be cancelled.
