Activity reaches new heights at Port of GBR

Article Abstract:

Developments in the Port of Greater Baron Rouge are discussed. The port reported a 22% increase in revenue and an overall increase of 20% in tonnage in the first quarter of 2007. Currently, it focuses on completing new projects, rehabilitation of its grain dock and cargo transit sheds, diversification of businesses that use the port, and land acquisition. Other plans for the port are also presented.
