Federal officials are being pressed by US Representative Charles Boustany Jr. for a more vigorous education program on Medicare not covering long-termnursing care. Boustany together with Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth-Sandlin have introduced a resolution to proclaim Long-Term Care Awareness Week on November 4-7, 2007 to educate the people on the limitations of Medicare. Many people are not aware of what the Medicare coversalthough there is a $3 miilion budget to distribute the information.
