Adam Kamens, chief executive officer of Amuneal Manufacturing Corp. in Philadelphia's Frankford section has become a leader in the region's art glass community and has expanded their family business to start a glass studio and gallery called Hot Soup in Old City. Amuneal 's productivity improvement came through a more efficient factory layout and big investments in new technologies.
